I have been tripping over this transmission now for 3 years. I need to get rid of it. It is out of a 85/1 944 that I no longer have. I think you can read the model # from the picture. As I recall it shifted fine EXCEPT when it got really hot fast shifts into 3 and 4 would beat the syncros. Maybe a different oil would help, maybe not. I make no promises. The LSD seems fine. If anyone local (MD, NOVA, D.C. So. PA) wants to make me an offer and pick it up let me know. I will not ship this thing unless someone makes me a ridiculous offer. I am 25 miles west of Baltimore. Delivery nearby is possible also for a fee. Best offer in the next week gets it. Locally posted also.
