Turbo heavy Smoking....need help...
Hello..
Today i drove my turbo 911, and suddenly there was lot of smoke, i thought there was a broken ring or more....
Then i realized turbo was leaking burned oil right from the middle (started just as a drop of oil time to time)..
But today was so much smoke i had to stop the car, and forget about driving..
One funny thing i realized is that as i brought down the turbo, i noticed i could twist both sides of it with my bare hands.. is this normal?...
Im posting some pictures for you to help me find out what is wrong..
There seems to be a clamp that keeps both parts together...this one is lose..
Propeler both sides, seem firm, but exhaust side is black because of burned oil..
Should it rebuild it, get another turbo, or just adjust the clamp in the middle.. sorry about cel pics...
Any thoughts?... car was running perfect before this cloud of heavy smoke..
