When a friend of mine (lives in Fox Point - you're a local and know the area) bought an Explorer II 10 years ago (seems like yesterday!), I asked him if it was really accurate. He just shrugged his shoulders and replied, among other things, "Oddly enough, it's not." He further went on to explain that accuracy wasn't necessarily the point. That sounded really odd to me at the time.
Now, ten years later, I understand completely. No sense trying to explain it beyond what has already been said. I think it's strange, however, that anyone on a Porsche forum would question buying something that's finely crafted and clearly not for everyone.
