Going with a stock motor is going to run me 12-14K installed. The price range is due to the fact that Porsche must determine if the core is any good. So, I assume the core is worth 2K. The tuning shop I am using told me the motor was going to cost him $9750 form Porsche. I get a two year warranty with no mileage limitations. I looked at it this way, I will always have a P-car in the garage (if I am not driving it) and this was the most economical way to keep one there for the short term.
