Each State has rules in addition to the Federal Rules. Here in Texas, I can sell "Face to Face" inside the state. No paperwork needed, but I am supposed to make sure that the person can own a firearm. If I sell out of state, all I need to do is ship the firearm to a FFL near the person.
In California, you have to transfer firearms using an FFL at both ends. You cannot ship guns from yourself to a FFL. You have to carry it to a FFL who would then forward it for you to the next FFL.
www.gunbroker.com is a very good way to sell firearms. Also, you do not want the guns "given" to you. That would not be legal in California.
One thing to note, a lot of older guns were Grandfathered in California. Those same models cannot be sold new. These can bring a much higher price in California than in other states.
Post pictures and models here before you do anything else. I am sure some of us would prefer to deal directly with you, than you paying auction fees, etc.
