Legion, Red, and Chris are ALL right. Rule of thumb is you can sell it any way you like, but to be on the safe side do the deal through an FFL. The cost will keep you out of trouble with ATF. Each state has it's own rules. Gunbroker is a good way to go as you get you money up front, you ship it from your FFL, and then it is up to the buyer to get it at his FFL and play 20 questions with him. If he is no good you are out of the loop and still have your cash.
