I asked previously (on another 'rally' thread) and got no answer so ....since these do not take place in the lawyer clogged/ambulance chasing USA , can someone in a country where these (rallys) DO take place answer please?
I have seen MANY videos of crowds lining race (rally) courses as in the above video. What happens (legally) if a pedestrian is hit? Is the race car driver REQUIRED to stop? Are the pedestrians/observers/fans notified that they are on their own if they choose to stand/sit/cross so close to the racers?
A race sanctioning body in the USA would be sued out of existence the first time some drunk standing beside the race course was sideswiped, much less killed?
Anyone???
