I got bad news, If the timing belt tension bearing went out then you have jump timing and some of your valves went too. You can't be 2-3 teeth out of timimg. Check to see if the belt is very loose. If not then mabe your safe and the valves are safe. But if not I have to ask you this, when the car stop runing did you tried to start it up? I hope not because you're spinging the crank and hitting the valves bad.
If you bent the valves, you have to take off the head and change all the bad valves. I had this happen to me when I had a 83 944 and I did the job my self. Save me over $3,000! The turbo has more things to take off but do it and save and be proud you can be a porsche mechanic. I work on 944 heads, main and con-rods bearings, cluch, oil cooler, water pump, oil pump Damn only the trans I have to learn.
