Question 968 Slave Cylinder in a 944? Try #2

Hmm, don't know what happened to the contents of the first post, but here it is...

I ordered the wrong part in a rush. I picked up a 968 Clutch Slave Cylinder (944-116-237-02-M33) for my 944S2. I didn't notice until I took it out of the box. Hmm, that's interesting, the Bleeder valve is at an angle... The proper part number is 944-116-237-00-M33.

So, can I use the 968 Slave cylinder on my 944S2? Or should I bite the bullet and order the correct part and overnight it so I have it this weekend?

I'm jones'en to drive the car again after a full clutch job, and the wife is increasing her nag factor. The nagging is worse than the Jones'en.

Thanks for your help on this...

Mike
