Hi,
The 2.0 T engine is very rarely chosen for VW conversion.
I am in the middle of installing a 3.2 engine in a 1985 vw T3.
The better choice is to buy a used oil tank from a 2.4 / 2.7 (very easily come by).
You have three lines to use : oil input line,oil output line,engine case breather hose.
I do have a 1955 samba 23 window resto project and I just check with a 3.3 TBO oil tank.
If you like to cut some of the rear hand fender well it fits in almost identical position as the 911.
