I rented a "truck jack" from local tool supplier to drop an SC engine/trans.
I wouldn't dream of using anything else on a 993 FWIW
I now own what I hope to be a pretty neat jack, Haven't used it yet

I don't think Pelican sells the AC jack anymore? so hopefully this is not out of line to suggest
I'll be using it to drop a 3.6 from a RUF RCT w/6spd this weekend in my garage so it should be a similar setup to yours
