You asked for it Dean...

Here's how I found it..

Here at home together with my kids "KidVRod" Gokart.

Pulled the original engine and transmission before I started IRS converting.
Used 944 trailingarms etc.

Testfitted rearbrakes:

Disassembled the frontspindles so I could flip them for a 3½ inch drop.

Testfitted the engine (well engineblock and fanhousing) so see what would need to be modified to make it fit behind the enginelid without cutting a hole in it...

I decided to move the whole engine and transmission package forward about one inch so the fan would clear the enginelid by an inch and a half..
Oh, yes. The transmission is from a 1303S superbeetle.
Thought long and hard on how I would make the front transmission mount when I had to move it forward. I ended up cutting off the original front mount and bought a 901 frontmount that I modified like this:

Last week I started cutting up the enginebay and prepare some pieces to box the rear frame so it would be strong enough for the rear enginemounts for the boxer six.

Yesterday I finally got the front 944 hubs mounted so I could test the front wheels too with the dropped spindles.
This is now how far I'm at the moment.
