Which end? The carb end or the tranny end? The carb end just hooks to the throttle linkage. Full throttle should be where the cable is fully extended. Any auto parts store should have universal kits on the shelf to hook these up. I rebuild automatic transmissions as a hobby, and I can do a THM350 in my sleep. I just finished a THM350 for a guy I work with, and I'm rebuilding a Toyota auto for a friend right now.
