Cupholders are inventions of the devil. As the bandito said in Treasure of the Sierra Madre, "We don't need no steenkeen' cupholders!"

My early 912 has no cupholders, no radio, no phone, no CD player, no AC, no heater blower, no heater (almost), no power windows, no power seats, no catalytic converters, no cruise control, no power mirrors, no energy-absorbing bumpers, no power door locks, almost no carpet (rubber mats instead), and almost no power. But at 2,050 lb, it sure is fun to drive!
