I've seen writeups on how to replace the rear glass, and I have Wayne's book, but none of them mentions using any sort of sealant between the glass & rubber gasket. My old gasket (what's left of it) has plenty of goop where the glass was. Not sure if this was original.

Can I get a waterproof seal without using any goop?
