I kinda wanna put one in the 930. We usually end up leaving the track for food, which means a quick run to some fast food drive-through, and it's a pain to hold on to a drink while driving back. The map pocket was excellent for this, but ever since I switched to RS carpet/door panels, there really is no place to rest a drink.
I think the cup holder "issue" is over-hyped. I don't think putting one in a track-prepped 911/930 with race seats, harnesses, roll bar, R-comps etc suddenly transforms the car into your neighborhood soccermom's taxi. Especially if the cup holder is removable...
It's not like you HAVE to drink while running 0-60 times & top speed efforts! Sometimes, it's nice to not spill your drink in the interior...
And, oh yeah, most people casuing havok on my drive home are usually yapping on the cell.
