FWIW I did meet a few good, honest cops that exemplified the term "to protect and serve" while living down there too, but I can attest first-hand to the fact that FL cops are generally more like a paramilitary unit than a public service police force.

The more I hear and see about Florida, the more I think it must be some kind of third-world country. Why does all the crazy stuff seem to be in Florida?
