First of all, do NOT sell it if you ever want to have an early car again, as you will likely never find one as good this in the marketplace, unless going for crazy money. Sports Car Market 2008 price guide for a 69 - 71 911E Targa is 22,000 to 37,000, investment grade B, with cars fully priced in the current market.

I would say your car would be at the top of this range, only mark against is a non original, non Porsche paint color (excellent color & workmanship help, but this market is crazy for original paint color for some reason..??)

So if it were me doing the selling, I would put it back to as original condition as possible, i.e. mirrors, horn grilles, emblems, door pockets if you have them. Then I would be asking close to $40,000, and negotiate to find an owner I would be happy about adopting my baby for a bit less than that...
