I live in the "Mid-Cities" area which is smack in between Dallas and Fort Worth. It is really amazing to see the difference between the two cities, completely different vibe.
I thought about the F-150, but either Ford raised their prices or Toyota dropped theirs, I'm not sure. If you price out comparable trucks the Toyota is only a few hundred more than the Ford. Plus Toyota is offering a $3,000 rebate right now. On this truck the sticker was $31k, I got the dealer down to $27.5k after quite a bit of haggling and then took my $3k off from there. So I bought the truck for $24.5k in the end. I thought that was a pretty decent deal.
