Bull Terriers were not bred to fight. They were farm dogs whose job it was to latch on to the nose of an animal (bull) & wear it down so the farmer could slaughter it. The fighting began when morons bet that "my dog's tougher'n yours." Any strong dog has the capacity to cause serious injury. The liability is totally that of the owners. Are there bad bulldogs, sure. Are there bad poodles, sure. Problem animals should be put down. It's just too bad we can't do the same with problem owners.
On top of all of this, you get uninformed buffoons like Slammin Sammy makin broad, sweeping statements which would be comparable to me making broad, sweeping statements on the origin of the universe.
