Some people either don't realize that fact, or want to conveniently say, "ok, clean slate now" and ignore it. I don't think it's going to be that simple.
And to say that the white males "built" this country is insulting to every other ethnicity that has come to this country. Including those bum Irish.
If this post had been about "angry middle class men" I would have had less of an issue with it. And it isn't about being PC.
