DE is good paint, but it's a west coast company. They've never heard of them in NJ. I've applied thousands of gallons of it.
SW is good paint. As others have pointed out, they sell 3 or 4 different grades in most of the products, I've used the 2nd to bottom one with fine results and coverage + all of their upper range paints. Good to fantastic products and great support from their stores and reps.
Believe it or not, Consumer Reports is a good source for info on paint, they do some pretty extensive "real world" tests as well as chemical analysis to determine how much of the *expensive stuff* like titanium is in each paint. Dollars spent does not always= quality. Big surprise, I know.
