110 leaded shouldn't hurt anything if your not running a cat and on a track. However it won't do anything for you unless your trying to run some cazy boost/timing combo. Most people here know I'm sure that octane is nothing but resistance to detonation. Sometimes motors that don't need it will actually run worse because of it's resistance.
I don't know about commercial but I fuel military jets everyday and it's clear. The kerosene I use as home is clear. Some gov subsidised (sp?) diesl is red because it's only supposed to be used in farm equipment on the farm.
Kerosene in your engine would be bad unless the engine is out of the car and your cleaning it for a rebuild
