formula vee was a dealer installed sport package/stripe kit. Wood steering wheel, sport wheels 5.5" wide, basically the steel sporto looking wheels they put on 914's, same offset and width as I recall, both different from stock ones.
They sold sport bugs in Marathon Blue and the pictured yellow one. I think it was 1973, but not sure. If you want to know go to
