The very 1st thing I try to instill in my people is "Priority of information"
In this case both elements have equal weight.
Not sure what to focus on 1st.
Another thing to keep in mind is information flow.
Westerners read L -> R and Top to bottom.
Rotating the card the other way helps lead the eye along that natural path. It could be left rotated this way if it had a lower priority. A way to Keep the card large and lower the priority would be to "light" it. Lighting would also add some depth. Feels flat right now. See below
Resist the urge to "line up" or "center everything. Makes it feel chunky, unnatural. Sometimes items falling of the page work better.
Here's a weird tip. Optically when you put things dead center they can appear off center, optical dillusion. Slightly to the left of vertical center and above horizontal center "looks" centered.
