First time I was pulled over, I was on my learners permit at 15 1/2. The LEO was not very nice. He gave me the third degree about what I did wrong (improper lane change and cut someone off from the 101/405 interchange south). He scared me to the point of not being able to drive the rest of the way to the airport. He was even rude to my dad.

Since then, I have met many more LEO's all have been very nice and even when the situation wasn't the best for me, they were still very nice and courteous. I still can remember every detail of the first encounter to this day and I still am sour about it, but that really hasn't swayed me from all positive encounters I have had.

There are good cops and bad cops, but that can be said of any corporation/entity. I do agree, that, the one cop that picked on the skaters, has a bad attitude and shouldn't really be allowed to interact with the public until he's had some anger management classes.

MMARSH: We have not really formally met, but I was around at the strip mall/gas station during the '08 hangover run and you and your partner seemed very nice.
