I got my motor out last week and I will post some pics.
I ended up lowering the motor a little then I disconnected the throttle cable at the intake... I just found it easier. I did start to pull stuff out to get access to the throttle cable at the gas pedal and I unbolted the metal skid plate ( under the center of the car) but I found it much less work for me to just disconnect the throttle cable at the intake.
Other than that everything went pretty well... I am now more familiar with the 993 than I thought I would ever be, one of the bonuses of working on your own car.
