Here are some to get started. The only marking I could find now are at the top of the gun shown. "Spencer repeating rifle company. Boston Mass. Pat'd March 6, 1860". I think there are some markings somewhere else with a serial number, just can't find it tonight. The gun is in really great condition and could be fired anytime. My Dad bought is from some where in Virginia in the 70's on one of are many trips to Civil War battlefields. Thanks for the help.
