I saw it at Rennsport too. I have some photos of it at home, but they are essentially the same as the one on the cover of Panorama.
As I recall, Rennsport was the 1st time the car had ever been in the U.S.
It was never raced either. It is a very large engine -- very long. In fact, I think the car was actually lengthened to accept the engine. At least it looked like it had been.
