I agree. I don't see how her being here legally would have prevented any of this. Americans probably have more accidents than illegals because they just don't pay attention, like this woman. Sure if she was legal, she may have had insurance, but what's a few thousand dollars going to do for a dead child?
The MUCH BIGGER issue here is seat belts in school buses. From the few pictures I saw, that did not look like a fatal accident. I'm assuming the bus didn't have belts like most in this country and that should be a crime
