dealer advertising

In the olden days, dealers actually drilled holes to mount their stinking company name.
I just took delivery of a new car, which was special ordered and took 3 month to get. When I get to the dealer I see my car with the logo on it. I flipped, the dealer had to remove the trunk lid and replace it with a new one. I checked if they just welded the holes and repainted it. No it was a new trunk lid.
And since I had already sold my car, the dealer now had to give me a loaner for 2 weeks till my new car had a new trunk lid.

From than on this dealer used glue on Logo. What a nerve drilling holes into a new car and I bet they did not repaint the holes to prevent from rusting.
