That's absolutely correct, he also bought 928s for his castmates on the show as gifts. When the show took off.
My parents visited Hawaii in the 80s and saw the making of the show. He got into the 308 ferrari and then immediately got out and a double would drive it for him, Tom Selleck is about 6'4-6'5"
