Yeah Kieran we are so fortunate let me tell you.Longest working hours, shortest vacations of all industrial nations. But then maybe we don't qualify for being an industrial nation anymore with all our stuff made in china...
50 million of us have no health insurance.Come on over Kieran. Here in Kalifornia you just bend over and pick up the gold...

Illegals?I guess at one point we were all "illegals" or is your name Sitting Bull or "dancing with wolfes"...

But anyways if every job in the US was a union job with decent pay and benefits there would be no "illegals" because there would be no more incentive to exploit our modern day slaves.Slavery is still alive and well in the US but under another name...
As for the R1200S you were not alone with your sentiments. The majority of BMW riders voted with their wallets;the R1200S is not in production anymore. The BMW customer obviously did not like the idea to have not a choice like he had with the R1100S how much practicality and touring ability he/she wanted with their sport,sport,sport...The rest is as they say, history.
If they come out with a worthy sports-touring successor to the R1100S in 09 or 10?
Only the BMW-gods know that answer...

But they probably blow their wad on the "190/190" bike for puberscent adolescents who have waited all their lives for a GSXR1000 with the 3 letters on the tank and swim in cash...As in Kalifornia the economy is so great you just bend over to pick up the gold in streams were milk and honey flows.
Go west young man...
