No offense, but unions in the US, like in the UK have destroyed more than they did good. Part of the current lousy state of US industry can be directly contributed to the unions. Prime example: auto unions.
If every job in the US was a union job, you are right, there would not be any illegals in the US. Mexico and Canada would have. Americans.
