Bill, brilliant , I was confusing radial and axial. The calipers I have are both axial.
I can succesfully modify the front to fit the strut ears with top hat bushes fitted into over sized holes bored in the calipers drilled off centre to pick up the original strut mount bolt pitch. I have trial fitted under 6 by 15 fuchs and it all fits . So just rotors to sort.
The rears are harder but I have today designed and drawn up a mounting system to use the original alloy radius arm mounts. It will require slotting out the caliper mounting feature and is yet to be trial fitted but I am hopeful. Again I will have to sort rotors.
The calipers are from a 944 turbo or 944S2.
If this is succesful I will post some pictures and details of the parts I have designed and am having made. Thanks for all your help couldn't do it without you guys.
