Friend at work says it's all good and for you to get down here and look around for yourself. New Bern is 45 mins South of me. It is okay but not a great vacation spot like Top Sail. T.S. is just a hop from Charleston, S.C. to the South and Ocracoke to the North. I like it because it doesn't seem over crowded when we have been through durring the Summer.
