I find this article very encouraging. I don't put much stock in Ahmadinejad's words (other than I think they are often designed to drive up the price of crude at the behest of Russia).
What is of note, is how his comments were in response to internal dissidents--in Iran's government! This is good news. Not only are we hearing that there is disagreement within Iran's government, but we are hearing the actual words of disagreement.
Perhaps moreso than Iraq, I believe the people of Iran are our friends and are capable of establishing a democratic government for themselves. What stands in their way is the current government and the Mullahs.
