"Any other way oil could be getting into my airbox"
When the oil is hot (and therefore expanded and at a higher level in the tank), tight radius, high speed turns to the right can "throw" oil into the airbox. My '76 2.7 does this if the oil level is too high.
You are checking the oil level with the engine warm and running at idle speed?
