Chavez is a buffoon (which is not to say he's not dangerous). He can't make a ground incursion into Colombia and make it stick, especially if he's not the one being invaded.
He'll have his nose bloodied if he tries anything further than his orangutan chest-beating... and this stunt does not distract "his" people from the Mugabe-like statist ruin he's turning his country into.
Other than an opportunity to slap down a pompous shytbag, I have little interest in this.
