The oil pressure made a fairly big and sudden drop. One day it went from easily 1 bar/1000 rpm hot to just 10 psi/1000 rpm. I also noticed that there was now a much larger difference between idle oil pressure and oil pressure at 2000 rpm. An engine oil analysis came back clean which told me all the bearings were OK. At this point I suspected a squirter had fallen out. Then I found a squirter in the sump during an oil change.
Not long after that oil pressure suddenly dropped again to under 10 psi/1000 rpm. Idle oil pressure hot was not measurable on the gauge, but the light didn't come on. Turbo banjo fittings with the reduced hole got things back to 10 psi/1000rpm for the rest of the summer. Another engine oil analysis also came back clean.
When I tore it apart I found two squirters had fallen out. One is still MIA.
