Just had someone ring the bell. Maybe Jehovahs Witnesses, not sure. Wanted to invite us to an "event".

Very politely thanked them, and as I handed their literature back responded, "We're Jewish".

Stops em cold every time. They never have a response other than "Uh, OK".

Their state of confusion and lack of anything to say always gives me a chuckle and the perfect opportunity to wish them a good day and close the door.

Disclaimer: The wife is really Jewish and the kids are being raised Jewish as is the tradition. I also do not have an issue with the JW's. Every one of them that has ever knocked on the door has been very pleasant and polite.
