As stated, it's probably not too big a deal, especially if the remaining vin#s match, wherever you find them. You didn't identify the car year, but some 69's didn't have the tag on the windshield post (I had one that didn't), and some cars didn't have the vin on the paint tag either. I would be sure to check the stamped vin in the luggage area, between the gas tank and smuggler's box and see if it matches the one on the paint tag--most likely it will unless the whole front clip had been replaced.
