I'm thinking of selling my track car/development mule. I'm knee deep in a couple VW projects, and have neither the time to get to the track or to finish off the car. I have no idea what the value of something like this would be...
It's a 1977 911, originally a targa, which I converted and drove as a cab for a few years, and ultimately developed a hard top using this car as one of the test mule. It's in great mechanical shape, but it has cosmetic 'issues'. If you go back through some of my posts on the 911 technical and racing forums you can see the build-up. It's due for a smog, so my thinking is, if I have to smog it anyway....

Basically it is a street-legal track car. My best time @ Thunderhill was a 2:02. It's fun to drive, but you really have to pay attention to what you're doing! This car is very light - the last time I weighed it, it was just over 1900lbs, wet.
