Living in Tampa will have no effect on the rust your car is likey to develop. If you lived on St Pete beach it would, but not Tampa. Just do your best to keep it out of the rain and on hard pavement. People that keep their cars in the back yard in the grass with a blue tarp over it soon find out they have no floor boards but the roof is rust free.

You'll need AC here for about 7 months of the year. The other five months you need to roll the windows down and listen to the engine.
