i hit a freaking home run. the only plumber that showed up on my "bid day" AND actually took the time to send me a written estimate is fantastic. i am paying out the kazoo. ( i could probably DIY a 3.0 rebuild with the same money) but his estimate came in considerably better than the "verbal" estimate i got from #2.
all new copper pipe, new rinnai tankless water heater, some sewer issue tackled. i got compliments for being his only client to climb under my house to check things out.
i scored when i called my electrician. he was working down the street and shorten up his lunch to wire up my water heater. in a few hours i will be in running water bliss.
i guess i learn how to DIY patch my walls this weekend.
