Wow. So what recourse do the parents have in this situation (or any like it, for that matter)? What did this just teach the kid? Maybe no more than lots of hard work can be undone by some underachieving, clueless, hyphenated-last-name-b!tch (and her hand-wringing cohorts) on a mission to write and enforce petty rules? Holy crap, what is happening in this country?
