I am both, a new member on these forums and a new Porsche owner (she's a 1979 911SC Targa beauty...
)
The car itself is in great shape, just a few things still need attention. One of them is a non working Oil Temperature Gauge.
Can somebody please tell me what part do I need to make the Oil Temperature Gauge work? The gauge itself is good, but the sensor or "thermometer" is dead. My apologies for this crude wording, but English is not my native language and I am no mechanic, either. My friend is, but neither of us could find the right part in the Porsche catalogue.
