www.dgrin.com . I joined up in January. It's a nice place. Doesn't matter what level you are or what camera you have.
The legs are wrapped for shoulder protection. When out in the field and moving around with a giant lens/camera attached, the tubes will make you sore in no time - imagine, leaving the legs extended, but folding them in and then carrying the whole thing like a pair of skis.
P.S. the foam/tape is only about two feet long.
