Our Ducks - a Study on Race Relations
A few weeks ago I noticed three ducks in our pond. The interesting thing is that one of the ducks is of different specie. I am not sure if ducks are territorial or like to co-mingle with different ducks but these seem to get along very nicely. There are two Mallards (male and female) and a Wood Duck (male).
Does this seem normal or are these ducks looking to cross race barriers and make a united pond?
