I assume what I need to start with to address the rough shift is the vacuum system that originates off the top of the throttle body under the intake. How do you access this? Do you remove the air intake housing? To get to the line at the trans vacuum modulator do you jack the car on the drivers side?

Start at the brake booster and work towards the center, rear of the engine compartment. Good luck and if I think of anything else, I'll post it up.
